Hi Folks,

I've got an 07 Yukon XL Denali, and I'm asking if there are any interior cabin air filters, and if yes, where are they located?

Thanks in advance for your responses.

it does not have one from factory, but you can add the retrofit from autozone. all you need to do is cut out the panel add the door and filter.

gm#22759208 $43.63 includes door and bolt. this is from the dealer but i'm sure its way cheaper at autozone.

GM stopped including them in the GMT900, but the space for the filter is still there. You can buy a retrofit kit that is a filter and cover so that you can add it. You cut out the section that covers a slot void where the filter would go had GM included it, slide in the filter, then install the removable cover from the kit. There's actually an embossed line in the plastic that you follow with a sharp knife or other cutting tool of choice.

Watch this:

Very good point!

GM used to have the replaceable cabin filter prior to 2003. That’s what the retro-fit kit is based on, so it’s a perfect fit. As stated previously, the line is still there, to show you exactly where to cut, as is the tab and the hole where the screw taps into for the new access door!
IIRC, it took me about an hour to do the job, and well worth the effort!

When did the cabin filter come back? I just changed mine (2015 Yukon SLT) last week.
