Is there a demand for this...

I have a 2012 GMC Yukon SLE and it came with Third Row Seats, which I have never used. So I prepped them and stored them away. Then came the stay at home order and the wife went on a "cleaning out the house" binge. Sorry to say I couldn't hide from her...she found me every time. One thing she is adamant about is getting rid of the two 3rd row seats. She wants to throw them in the trash, but I nixed her on that. I'd like to sell them, just to get rid of them, but two questions arise:

1) Is there a market, or demand, for these seats?

2) What are they worth?

I looked on the web and prices vary wildly. Couldn't believe one person wanted $500 per seat! Sure could use some help with this situation. Aloha!

Check out EBay or Facebook marketplace to see what others are selling them for. You will probably have to sell them locally though due to the shipping expense.

as annoying as it is to have them laying around i would just keep them. i cant imagine you would keep the truck forever and having third row seats is a desirable option. if the truck has provisions for third row but no third row it might as well just be a normal 5 seater. so when your ready to trade it or sell it yourself it makes it an easier sale. limiting your resale options throwing them away.

I was surprised how heavy they were when I took mine out - I only put them in if i'm going to the snow for extra wejght/traction.

Thieves steal these all the time and then sell them on FB Marketplace, Craigslist, etc. $300-500 is the norm but you're in Hawaii, everything costs more over there! Not having them if and when you go to sell or trade in your truck will hurt its value.

My Suburban came with the Escalade 2-seater third row. I bought a three-seater third row off ebay and put the Escalade seats in those boxes and stored them away. 5 years later we moved and they were taking up room,so I put them on FM. Sold for $250 in two weeks.
