Is there a Transmission Temp Display on my 2008 Tahoe Z-71??

I can read all the other display functions such as TPMS, engine hours, mileage, etc just nothing with the DIC. All the other buttons below the DIC work as they should.
That doesn't make any sense, the mileage is shown in the dic, when you press the top button it will change what is displayed so are you saying the top button does not cycle the display?

You should post a video of what you are doing, after you read your owner's manual. Do not shoot the parts cannon yet.
I will take short video and post it later today. I did read the manual after it was first mentioned. Once the display was shown to not cycle through it functions and the button appeared to be physically operable (meaning I could press it in and it would return to its original position) then I started the troubleshooting.
Seems like an odd situation but leaning towards maybe a bad switch. Maybe the previous owner loved pushing the button. lol.

the switch is pretty cheap, I think you just have to pull the shroud from around the cluster first then you can access the switch in any case it's a few screws only and relatively easy to do
