I need to change my wheel hubs and currently my truck sounds like complete sh*t when i drive. the sound that sounds like grinding and marbles is pissing me off...
really dont have the money to do both sides but its getting dont tomorrow or wednesday.
im wondering if there's a write up around to follow so i can get it done CORRECTLY...
my hoe is a 2wd so i know the rear of the hub is sealed and should be easier to change vs the 4wd...

o another thing.. b/c my truck is 2wd do i still need the 36mm socket? or is that only on the 4wd

damn i cant get the 18mm bolts out.. might need an impact...
i tried, my big ass cousin tried and my dad who's 6'5 290lbs body builder couldnt get those 2 bolts out.
dont wanna call a mechanic to come out but i might just have to. even if he charges $40 an hour its not gonna take 30 minutes to complete from where its at now

got it done!!! had to use a breaker bar
truck drives much better and sounds 100x better. no more grinding sound or anything. wish i could have ordered the hubs b/c locally they go for $112 but i could've ordered 2 online for $120 but it is what it is...

hey yall. i changed it an it was fine but today on the way to work it sounds like a train wheel on the track at real low speeds... that metal on metal sound..
could it be a bad hub or maybe the rotor, or that metal shield behind the hub???
its real irritating but the truck rides smooth now...
