Thanks for the nudge fellas. I am off to look at this thing, and hopefully it is as nice as she says it is.

Jochen Woern, I also love this color, it is what we have wanted all along.

Thanks again!

Yea 4x4 cost at least 3-5k extra in price so I would say that it's a good deal. You should definitely try to get the seller to keep those rims and put the stockers back on and that way you can get it for even cheaper!!

Well I guess the search continues. It was not nearly as clean as described, and the interior color was not as indicated. It had tan interior which I don't prefer, was described as having gray and extremely clean, which it was not. I wish people would stop saying what they have for sale is mint, and for gods sake, at least clean the interior :emotions122:. It was nicely optioned, but had an aftermarket sunroof and no DVD or Nav.

Oh well I will keep looking. Thanks for the help guys. I will post up when I do find the right one.

Sounds like a good one to walk away from!! If they are gonna lie about something as obvious as interior color, makes you wonder what else is wrong with it!! Plus there are plenty with OEM sunroofs, so another thing I wouldn't like!! Keep looking and good luck with your quest, and do let us know if you find a keeper!!

You'll love the color, but trust me. It IS a B*TCH to keep clean, as bad as if she was black. ;)

I hear you in regards to the way people advertise. HOW can tan be advertised as grey? UNREAL.

But, do not give up, there are LOTS of them out there and you will find the one you want. Glad you walked away if it was not what you wanted.

I know, I couldn't believe it. Oh well at least it was only a 40 minute drive. I definitely am not in the market for an aftermarket moon roof.

I could tell the second she opened the door it was tan interior. Total disappointment. Oh well, I found another on today, but it's AWD, and I kind of wanted the selectable 2hi/4hi/4lo. It's a Gray 2003 w/ 101k, one owner, asking $9995. I am in desperate need of that gray color. It is by far my favorite.

JochenWoern, I just looked through your albums, I love what you have done. Don't be surprised if there's another one cruising the east coast just like yours. :waytogo:

Thanks very much, I appreciate the comments.

Be patient, you will find the one with the 4x4 option, DO NOT JUMP THE GUN.

If you need any help in regards to how and what I have done, just let me know. I would be happy to help you and I am honored to have my twin cruise the East Coast.

I know what you are saying about jumping in. That is not my nature. I have looked for so long. This thing is really clean 1 owner. The more I read about the FT4WD (AWD), it might not be that bad of a feature. I just think to get this color, at this price, that's this clean, I might have to sacrifice a little, without thinking of it as settling. In my area these do not come up very often, and the last 5 or 6 I've done Carfaxes on, have been in accidents or rentals with multiple owners.

Right now without any offer they are down to $9500, and I am pretty sure I can get it for $9000, with a warranty. Not a bad price for this Yukon in my area.

Thanks for all the input again, and BTW, does anyone have any complaints on the FT4WD/AWD feature?
