I will definitely keep you updated. I plan on going to look at it and drive it on Friday. If it drives nice, and is as nice as all the pictures he sent me, this thing will be sitting in my garage that night.

I love my AWD!!

I'm pretty sure the FT4Wd is a little different than the AWD in your Denali. But how is your gas mileage?

Look for...........
Front drivetrain growl upon accelleration or decelleration

If it has air suspension, listen for the compressor
Turn key on and sit in gate, should hear a click, then about 15-20 secs have the comp run for another 20 secs
and CEL's

If you have a code scanner, scan first and check IM readinessto see if they cleared out the lights
all should be "OK", it is says INC, that means it has not gone thru self tests

Thanks GM-MAN! I will definitely check for drivetrain growl. The last one I looked at had it bad at only 5 mph in a parking lot. That was a regular type 4wd though, auto/2hi/4hi/4lo. Thanks for the advice.

I don't think it has air suspension. At least it doesn't say it under the SLT badge on the outside quarter. I thought they had a tag if it was the autoride. And I don't have acces to a scanner, but like I said before, this was a dealer maintained vehicle, and the carfax just showed it lots of maint done at the dealer only a few thousand miles ago:

"Antifreeze/coolant flushed/changed, Maintenance inspection completed, Transmission fluid changed, Oil and filter changed, Fuel injection system flushed/serviced, Tune-up performed, Maintenance inspection, completed, Tires rotated, Passed safety inspection, Passed emissions inspection @ 97,712 miles.
