So to disect the link you sent...he powdercoated all parts so your looking at un-necessary increased cost there as the parts should have already come powdercoated so he must have wanted a change. Those are good bags and valves but the stainless steel lines are completely un-necessary and costly, regular DOT line with push lock fittings would do fine. Also this is one case, doesn't support your cause either. I'd like to see the parts vs install cost on his as well. Bag shops here have stiff competition and could possibly have a lot better hrly shop rates. If I cared enough to "win" this argument I'd call my local shop and ask them for a ballpark price on a "air ride" job that doesn't lay and see what they quote me....but I don't so you "win"

and no I'm not using "being under it to look" as a reference. I'm using "it was explained to me its the lowest you can go with rerouting exhaust and cutting some stuff. I honestly couldn't tell you with any degree of intelligence why it doesn't go lower lol" as a reference because I can tell you just from doing my drop it would take c-notching the frame to even come close to getting lower and the exhaust would have to be dumped before the axle in order to really get it down. It would take full tubbing of the rear end to actually lay but if that is what I wanted that is what I would have done

It's not about winning it's about correct information and when you have custom work done then no it does not come powder coated and you have to pay for install. My point had been you are not going to save a bunch of money.

There is nothing custom about DJM upper and lower control arms. Custom fabricated tubular adjustable control arms built by a fab shop yes, not DJM order out of a catalog control arms. Nothing else even reguires powdercoat unless he wanted to change the color on the compressors or tanks.

I know my stuff, don't have to prove it here. I'll just keep being that guy that's one up on all the bolt on out of the box modders

I have a history of messing with every car I've ever owned! Lol. Literally every one has been customized. 99 Camaro, 99 trans am, 02 escalade, 07 h2, 2010 camaro( had parts for it before I even had the car) and now the Tahoe. Next car is either a gtr or a panamera. Don't think I'll customize those..... Maybe wheels lol

I'm the same exact way...on the Cummins I had the lift kit, 20s and 38s already bought before I picked up the truck! lol

and I said the same thing about the Esky, maybe just wheels....that didn't work out, like always!

Show me how cheaply you can bag the front. I am just curious and as I already told you another member here tried to do it cheaper and did not.

I got quoted $6k by Nfamous to slam the Tahoe (not lay frame) in a kit they would put together similar to the Kelderman kit.
That is cheaper than the Kelderman kit would be installed and included fender work. That was the price before I tired to negotiate.

Interesting, that's exactly who I'd want to do it. Keith is the $hit! I talked to a few members of my other forum and got quotes of about $3-3800 for just a simple bag job that wouldn't lay similar to the Kelderman

Since Yates is here would the kelderman kit be a good investment if I bought it from the guy you sold it to?
I wouldn't buy new. But something has to be done with my ride quality and I'm trying to figure out the best way possible to get good ride quality at below stock height.
