I’m figuring out what is needed to be done about the fueling issue, I.e. blowing out the lines etc. thanks to other posts on the forums. However, my Tahoe is also trying to die like it is being choked out while at idle. And when I try to accelerate the rpms go up but nothing happens until I few seconds later then it goes. Would the issues associated with fueling also affect the idle and acceleration? Am I looking at a completely different issue? Also what does it mean when I get an Engione Power Reduced notification on the dash? Ty.

Any codes? (Need a code reader/scanner)

One of the reasons for reduced power mode can be when your pedal position vs throttle position isn't registering what its expecting.
On your 09 model, the reduced power mode limits your throttle to 8%. On my 2012 it is limited to 6%. Dangerously slow!

Good questions. The nozzle got turned up on the issue to wide spray with more and bigger issues.

Get to someone / somewhere who can pull some codes for you.

It’s still an unresolved engine problem until you get a DTC for trans issues.

Thank y’all for the replies.
So far I have blown out the vent lines. Replaced carbon canister, purge solenoid and about to replace vent solenoid. Issues with fueling the tank have been resolved.

Low power mode has not presented itself in a while.

My Tahoe has stalled out at idle a hand full of times.
The acceleration issues still persist.
Here is the list of codes printed from this morning before swapping vent solenoid.

P0306 cylinder 6 misfire detected (pending)
P0356 Ignition Malfunction cylinder 6 (stored)
P0449 EVAP Vent Solenoid VCC (stored)
P2135 Throttle position sensor 1-2 correlation (stored)
P2176 Throttle Control Lower Position Not Learned (stored)
P0356 Ignition malfunction cylinder 6 (pending)
P0449 EVAP vent solenoid VCC (pending)
P0306 Cylinder 6 misfire detected (permanent)
P0356 Ignition malfunction cylinder 6 (permanent)
P2272 02 sensor lean/rich switch signal malfunction B2S2 (permanent)
P0442 EVAP emission system leak detected small leak (permanent)

Looking at replacing plug, wire, coil for cylinder 6 as a start.
All the help is greatly appreciated Thank you.

Dammmnn, that’s post is power packed with data. Have you tried swapping the #6 coil yet?
