if its not in your console its not stock. WTF dude. you make no sense. You either 1. Dont know how to mesure the bass in your suv. 2. have a stealth box or somthing. 3. Really have an aftermarket sub and are ******** us.

Its a STOCK sub in the STOCK center console with a brand new STOCK dB reader that works correctly....

Your acting like Im int eh 140s or somethin...I havent even measured into the 120s yet

its just confusing to me. the bass is not that good at all on a stock system. I think its measuring noise period. Not just bass. people compete to get to 140 in compitition and your telling me all they gotta do is get a bose system and only be 25 db points away.

I'm guessing he measured right next to the console, and it takes quite a bit to measure an accurate 140db sound pressure with a properly placed microphone for a standard measurement.

It all depends on where he put it plus the mic he used. The mics is prob off. Most say for a accurate reading to use a TL mic but there is no need for that.
