I just took the front cover for the tubes leading to the upper most core, and then you get some play in with the unit back and forth. Also remove the rear a/c fan, it will have a hole straight to the other side. Don't remove the unit, I got everything by pre-peeling 10" squares and carefully tucking them behind the unit and sticking them...

Sorry you are having trouble...
The top arrow is the fan, and bottom arrow is where that tube support is held down....

Oh, and it helps to remove all the retaining clips around the unit, so the two halfs can move somewhat independently of each other...

no...they are preformed metal tubes with the rubber sections here and there...but I was able to move the system enough to get my hands in there and lay the dynamat...Im finishing the lower wall section right behind it...Im taking pics...so I'll post when Im done :)

Blizzard, when you get done with this, you shouldn't hear shit from the outside when you're rollin lol. It'll be like you're in a padded cell lol

To bad 03 and up wont let you. Go try and turn your key when its running. It wont do anything. The computer is to smart. lol

I know that..It was just funny...you turn the key and it stays quiet...I've done that a few times when I first bought the truck because it was so much quieter then my Ranger...then hit the gas to find out if it was running or not
