sad to see. im a volunteer fireman and i took a vehicle extraction class a few months back and they had a 97 burban that we had to chop into pieces after they flipped it over

that had to hurt

regarding fuses...u'd be amazed at how many fires CAN start from electrical wires even with a fuse. some things can get hot enough w/o blowign a fuse to start a fire- same in a home. wiring can get hot and arc and not have enough amps to trip a breaker and still start a fire.
