So I've been searching and looking around. My heat hasn't been working for the past two winters. Heated seats and layers have been my defense. It is starting to get old though and if I give people rides I feel bad that it is so cold in the truck.
I have a 2003 Tahoe LT. Ever since I bought the truck, I haven't had rear air at all (separate problem). A/C worked perfectly fine during the summer. Past two winters though as I said, no heat at all just cold air. Almost a month ago, I got a coolant flush when I got a bunch of other maintenance done. It almost seemed like there was some heat when I first turned it on after that, but maybe it was because it was sitting in the shop or something because it stopped being warm quick.
There is no heat coming out through the floor vents or the face vents. I have no working rear air at all, so no idea if the rear has heat or not. I keep reading about the A/C heater blend door actuator, but not sure if this is my problem. Looked on Autozone and I see quite a few different actuators for manual, automatic (I have automatic). But then I am seeing right side and left side and I haven't seen anything about those in the threads I saw. I am really hoping it isn't the heater core, because I don't really feel like taking the dash apart especially now it's cold (yeah I put it off so it's my fault).
Any more detailed information that may help me out would be appreciated!
