yup cant wait to get it on..just been staring at the boxes in my room lol..

Tony, is it really necessary to file down the burr inside the control arm ends, and to remove the nut on the cv axle?

yes make sure the outer sleeve has the hole drilled into it and just get a file and just take off the burr if you see one.

slap it all together and you can run shorter energy suspension fronts.

holy ****...what a day..got started around 2, just got home and the front is only half done lol..didnt even touch the back..

installing the arms was nice and easy..took a bit to figure out the torsion bars, but got that and now its simple...started on the idler, pitman arms etc..theres where the fun started..

took me 2 hours to get the ******* bolt off the pitman arm..ok got that, another 30 min to get the idler arm free...still cant get either of them free from the cross bar...now we try to get the pitman free from the steering box..4 ******* hours..4...and we didnt get it...broke 2 pitman arm removal tools, heated it with an oxy torch etc..did everything...said **** it and slapped it back together with nothing new besides the tie rods and ball joints..

im taking it for an alignment tomorrow and im gonna bite the bullet and have them do the arms..first time in my life i havent been able to do something on my trucks..o well..

Tony, is it normal to have the bolts almost all of the way out for the stock keys with arms? i noticed it settled quite a bit on the drive home, figuring it will go down a bit more in the morning..

is there a part number i can get for shorter sway bar links? something i can scoop at autozone? i dont even have the bar back on yet because the links were so worn out..

the kit is top quality though..ride was much better even with the ****** up steering and no alignment..

gotcha..i got it sitting level in front now..im just under 18" from center of hub to fender, which im sure might got down a little bit once its aligned..

i would wait on an alignment, but i need this for my daily..the steering is sketchy since i had to put it back together with the parts we had beat on trying to get apart, so im having them do pitman and idler arm and align it..then ill get to the back hopefully tomorrow..
