As you jack it up where you have it circled the front control arms will drop as weight is taken off. Jack it up under the control arms and then set the jack stands. Jack it up under the rear diff and then set the jack stands.

We'll that's why. Lol I was gonna say our 3 ton has no issues lifting our lifted Tahoe and it's on 35X12.50R20's
Your 3 ton probably has a higher lift than my 2 1/4 ton. I've had mine for years and it worked great before I lifted the Tahoe. It doesn't even fit under my Dakota, which sits about an 1" off the ground. But that's a whole nother story... I'm still looking for a bigger floor jack with a higher lift and may end up having to get a hi lift jack if I put the 3" BL on the Tahoe.

Maybe its you who doesn't understand. My jack DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH LIFT! PERIOD! No matter where I jack it up from, my tires don't come off the ground. To each his own though, thanks for your well thought out comment.
