Just throwing it out there, 5 years ago I needed a cd player for my first truck and my buddy sold me an Eclipse 55090 for 100 bucks. At the time, all I knew was it was a single din dvd player dead head. It needed an amp to get sound and a screen for the picture. I figured what the hell I'll get a cheap amp at the pawn shop and I'm good to go. After I had it for a while I got bored and did some research on it. Turns out it sold for over a grand back in the day and it was a pretty damn good head unit as far as sound quality goes, copper chassis, 8 volt pre outs, no internal amp and burr brown dac's. I still have it to this day because I know it's a good sound quality deck but no one will pay for a dvd player with a seperate screen. Maybe this isn't your case but I figured it might relate.
