Buying one of those would be a horrible choice. As @DuraYuk said, they have HUGE incentives. I read an article a week or two ago with dealers dropping almost 40k off of them. Imagine buying one at full price and then seeing it for sale 40k off a few months later. Worse than tesla price cuts.

@malba2366 I hate their pop up screen interior and like the outside of it :D

Well, if you could buy a loaded GW Series III for 80k, it might merit consideration

I had the kid's Jeep; so as one does was in the Jeep dealer getting parts over the weekend :).

They had one of the Grand Wagoneer's in stock.
Loaded out, sitting all pretty, so I spent some time with it.

Sitting in the Wagoneer I didn't feel any tinge of wanting to be in the wife's Denali, if anything I liked the Jeep interior better, especially the infotainment. With 510hp under the hood it was a hoot to drive. $'s to $'s the Grand Wagoneer was within $10k of a Yukon, the regular Wagoneer could be had for significantly less, but only the 420hp engine available.

The real question, is an extra $5k worth it to go to an X7 M60i over the Grand Wagoneer?

At a $5k delta, the X7 would be a no brainer, however (and maybe I’m the one out of touch here) but how in the hell is a grand wagoneer priced within $5k of an M60i??

Unless you need more space in/behind the 3rd row, the X7 would obliterate the GW in pretty much every metric. If you want luxury a GLS or X7 (or even the SQ7) all punch above the league the GW or even Escalade sit.

I agree the Stellantis infotainment is way better than GMs, who have been lagging behind for long time. I’m not sure what GM was thinking when they put in whatever it is when the T1xx SUVs debuted. It is slightly better now but we’ll have to wait for the 25 refresh for something that hopefully will be more to industry standard.

In 25, you are just going to get what is is in the pickups…still the bug laden Google Based thing we have now…

Haven't driven a Grand Wagoneer, but we've got a Wagoneer Series III sitting in the driveway. Interior is really nice and at least on par with a Denali. Tows like a beast, with the tow package it's rated for 10k lbs. And the most useful aspect is that it's actually a few inches longer than a standard Tahoe/Yukon, so the trunk space is larger with the third row up. Ours only has 6500 miles though so I can't speak to the reliability yet. If GM ever accepts my Yukon XL AT4 order, I'll write up a comparison, though it won't be totally apples to apples.

I would not touch that Turbo 6 for at least a year. Interiors are nice, exteriors not so much.

Size. Those Germans are not big enough.

I think if you got it in black or got the B and C pillars wrapped gloss black it would flow a lot better. Looks awkward in lighter colors. Interior is dope but I would be skeptical of reliability and looks like lots of stuff that can break.

It is the pillars, right? lol

havent looked that hard at them, but you're right, especially the B pillar. don't see too many vehicles these days that don't have that area wrapped in black so the first and second windows flow together. we have a Ram 2500 tradesman and it doesn't have that area wrapped and definitely cheapens the look of it.

agree the interiors are sharp (sat in a couple that were on the local dealer's showroom floor) all in all the above just look like a stretched ford flex

i am just upgrading from my 3rd WK2 (grand cherokee) back into a yukon.. my last yukon was an '05. jeep is okay.. but limited progress on drive train. limited options. i had three pentastars in 3 wk2s.. and one pentastar in a ram. one had a cracked head. and it was not used to tow or hot rod. it was babied. The wk2 was a ML knockoff... and decent.. but again no real updates from 2009-2021. i skipped on the wagoneer.. as i do not think a turbo charged stelantis engine is a good idea. the fit and finish on zero of my wk2s was anything to brag about. the '21 had some real defects in the plastic liner in the rear hatch. paint is never that great either. would i pick a pentastar over a 5.3 - no way. i think that pentastar is going to better in the long run than a turbo 6 too.
