Is that JL ** box worth the money?

No problem. I used to think the JL equipment was all hype. But then I was given a 10w7, never turned back. Since then I've had that, two 8w7's, a 13tw5, and a 10w6 and nothing can compare to the build quality, durability, loudness or sound quality of these subs. Pure clean accurately reproduced bass. Thanks, been on the fence for awhile. Gonna pick one up and see.

I have a 2013 & don’t think I have a storage bay. Make sure you have a heat vent in there. Without one it will heat up quickly in there. Looks great, through. Some heavy duty Velcro holds the box in place with third row up or down and you can even lift the lid to the storage bay for amp access without Velcro coming undone View attachment 72932
Just finished first wave of upgrades to my new to me 2015 Tahoe LTZ
The JL High Output 10'' w6 bow fits perfectly behind the driver side third row when up. Paired it with a JL slasher 600 watt amp that installed in the storage bay underneath the amp. Have a audio control knob next to the compartment above the cup holders compartment.
Sounds great - and can really pound when you want it to.
