Just bought a 2008 tahoe

Hello I have a 2008 tahoe I just bought had a 2013 ford raptor and a 2005 ford expedition. Both got terrible mileage so I sold them and bought this at the body shop now fixing a small amount of rust I found on the lip of the tailgate and hood and getting a street scene hitch cover painted.

....and already rust on a 2008???? do you live physically in salt? how does it have rust already?

I know I really do miss the raptor but might look at a Chevy raptor if they come out or a new raptor in a year or two. But I couldn't believe the rust either but figured I should fix it while its not to bad. I also have a 07 grand Prix I gotta fix the rust on.
