So I bit the bullet and bought a 2004 Suburban LT AWD with 176k miles. I've been shopping around since November and it's been slim pickings here in Chicago for a decent one. I LOVE it! My kids love it even more.
Since it was a dealer purchased vehicle, should I change plugs/wires, o2 sensors and fuel filter? The truck runs great given the high mileage but was wondering if I should do it anyway since my mpgs seem low compared to what other people get on here. My city is around 9.8 while my highway is like 14.5. I already drove it for one tankful and these are the results I came up with. I knew mileage would be bad regardless since these trucks are hogs so I knew what I was getting into. I just want my truck to run as best as it can. The truck already came with a K&N filter btw. (no CAI).
