You're gonna have one bolt left over from this project.
I went ahead and did another filter change...
Just putting the filter upside down to drain, i'm seeing more metal draining out.
brass/copper color.
I might be pulling my pan here pretty soon.
I did everything perfect, the only questionable thing i had was one rod to wrist pin bushing that the machine shop said was fine.
And the crank "polish" was more like 400 grit, bugged me a little but i ran it.
So far the filter appears to be catching all of it.
I don't see anything in the oil, nor did i see anything when i had the valve covers off.
Still keeping an eye on it...
And the rockers sound much better already.
I'll take it for a little drive tomorrow to see if it resolves the noise i was getting right around 3k rpm and light throttle.
I left mine out when I took it back apart to swap for longer pushrods the first time.You're gonna have one bolt left over from this project.
