Just got a new truck

I just bought a 1997 Chevy Z71. 5.7 Vortec, 150,000 miles. can i use the performance and tech info on this forum and apply to my truck... are they basically the same? does anyone know of a good truck forum like this one?

to answer your first question yes the engine and drivetrain are basically identical, along with several other things.
