Just got Her Back from the Body Shop

I FOUND MY CAMERA! SO THIS MEANS PICS!

HERE ARE THE PICS OF "BAD HEAD" that I recieved from Langston's Machine Shop in TX. This was suppose to be a rebuild with a port n polish job.

1) DO NOT BUY FROM HIM OR GO THERE FOR WORK!

The head was cracked (which he did not tell me AND THE WELD WAS ******)


Ok, There were atleast 7-8 guides in both heads. They are put in to a)cover up a crack and weld inside port b) cover up any socring and make it smooth again c) to make sure there is a seal and no leaks

Who would want to buy shit like that? Also some of the guides with valves closed surpassed its port : (

While thats all getting done it was TIME TO UPGRADE!

Those ****** heads cost me $550 shipped to my door.

A new machine shop just opened up and they had sick prices!

$350 I got my heads rebuilt (NO CRACKS) with a 3 Angle Valve Job and Shimmed Springs to bump up the compression!

While I was at it MSD 6AL Ignition box with Plug and Play harness from MSD
Harness made it a snap! Now wiring, cutting sodering or splicing!
I got this used for $110 shipped including the PnP Harness. Used for less then 5k.

SHE IS GOING INTO THE BODY SHOP MONDAY TO FIX THE OTHER ACCIDENT AND INSTALL THIS

$215 shipped to my front door. AUTHENTIC Goodmark Steel Cowl Hood. It was damaged from Goodmark to the Distributor!

I would love LT's but do that and my exhaust would be round $1,000 PLUS just the LTS are round $600

Ceramic Coated LT's to a
Custom made Y-Pipe (if you want LTS you have to get one made)
to a cut out
to a cat
to a dual exhuast that exits before the rear tire with z-28 tips (THANKS JK)

So the truck won't be ready till Saturday mourning. He's gonna take her in on Wednesday but I already gave him the hood to start working on. $450 to get the bumper repaired and painted as well as the hood. My old hood had rock chips in it. I thinking about getting the hood INVISILIN it? Basically a clear layer over the part.

Also started puttin her rear back together b/c I NEED BASS and now only one of my subs work My friend offered me to Kicker Solo X's but I'm not sure yet.

Possible to get a sub rebuilt its a JL?

get the solo x's. lol.

and what JL sub is it and whats wrong with it. alot of speaker shops cant repair the newer subs, or its just cheaper to buy new..

Solo X's wpuld be ****...memeber when he had them installed made my balls shake and ear drums bump.

Getting those...would mean goodbye trunk space (to build the correct box for them). Another battery or two and NEW amps...
