How did you affix it to the wall?, I might try something quick like that, and I hate fiberglasss

The old factory sub box had a bracket that i removed that was fixed to the wall. I then took a home depot L bracket used the old nuts and made a shelf with an old scrap of wood. The top of the new sub box goes further back than the actual box which made a lip to screw to the shelf I had made.
