Hello everyone. I bought a 2001 4x4 Tahoe LS 6 or 8 years ago. I was looking for 4x4 when it found me. It had 210k when I bought it and now has 305K so it's been to the moon and is on it's way back. I was amazed at how well it did off road and on road. It needs rear rotors and I hear the slotted and drilled rotors are better so I ordered some. Everything I can find says it shold have 225mm rear rotors with single piston calipers (4x4 without limited slip with 4.1 ratio). It has 225mm rotors with dual piston calipers. Someone could have put the wrong rotors on it but I don't think anyone would replace a single piston with dual. I am installing the 225mm rotors that came with the kit. I bought new pads for dual piston calipers even though their computer would not cross it that way (he did ask for the ratio but it still came back with single piston. The pads look exactly like the old ones (well a little thicker pad) but he had to order the clips and from the picture they won't be right. The first time I took it off road I got stuck in a mud puddle on level ground. I couldn't believe it didn't have a limited slip differential. Now that I said HI I will see if I can find anything about my problem. I love my Tahoe almost as much as I love my Harleys.
