Katzskin upholstery kit or something else?

My old 2007 tahoe truck (9 seats) has light cloth interior and I thought to switch it to leather (it may sound unwise and better to buy 2015+ sub from an auction instead of investing in a old truck but I just like my old buddy).
So I found Katzkin Leather Upholstery Kit for 1250 here https://www.autoseatskins.com/chevrolet-tahoe-katzkin-leather-seats-p/fch77.htm and I was wondering if someone had experience with Katzkin, is there better solutions or better prices, please let me know.

I had Katzkin in my old ‘09 Camry and it was absolutely great and held up fantastic! I’ve actually been wanting to redo my Yukon seats in Katzkin as well. Apparently you can only buy the stuff through an authorized installer and the closest one to me is 1.5 hours away, so I’ve been putting it off.

Edit: I just looked at your link and never knew I could buy it online! Thanks for sharing that! I just might go ahead with it this summer.

i had katzkin in a prior truck... custom ordered w/ a few options.
it was a great kit & fairly easy install. you will either love or hate the hog rings. (you will cut yourself on the a few times getting started )

leather held up way better than the OEM leather that i had.
