My deepest and most sincere apologies go out to @89Suburban for selling you short on this answer. I was slow in my response, and Sam had already answered your question, so I very lazily just jumped onto the band wagon.

To better illustrate this phenomenon, the next time you get behind an Escalade or some other vehicle with LED tail lights at a stop light, shift your eyes back and forth rapidly while looking at the tail lights and take note of what you see.

Basically it has to do with pulse width modulation drivers for the LEDs and the cameras 30FPS recording.

The pulses/flashes are almost imperceptible to the naked eye.

Except when I hit my brakes. I have completely modified the rear lights on the Burb.

The turn signals are now combined with the reverse lights in the clear reverse lens and the original turn signal (lower red lens) is now an additional brake light and all 4 strobe when you first hit the brakes and then go solid.

And don't even get me started on the Esky 3rd brake light I modified.... epileptics beware... lol

Got the new hydraulic lines I had made up put on the dual remote mount oil filter/oil cooler setup...

Also got the new Rancho 9 way adjustable struts put in the front with the Rough Country grade 9 hardware to bolt them to the bottom of the control arm. And the new Moog poly sway bar end links. These are 3.25" between sway bar and control arm and it makes the sway bar parallel to the ground where as the ones that came out were too long because they were the stock length for the stock height of the truck. These appear to be the perfect length for the 4/6 drop.

I was hoping it would raise it just a little and it may have. I honestly forgot to get before measurements.

So far so good... guess I will have to adjust them a little bit and see if I notice any difference. Right now they are set at 5 which is the half way point, which to my understanding is basically like stock.

Nice! You probably already posted this but why did you add dual oil filters? I like the set up and I like how they’re much easier to access over the stock oil filter location

Nice! You probably already posted this but why did you add dual oil filters? I like the set up and I like how they’re much easier to access over the stock oil filter location

I run extended oil change intervals (10-15,000 miles) because I used to be an over the road truck driver (armored carrier for the US Govt.) They would keep us out 6-8 weeks at a time and then home for a week and back out for 6-8 weeks... etc.

I didn't want to have to worry about my wife getting the oil changed at some quick lube place because I don't trust any of them.

I have always ran Mobil 1 full synthetic but I started running the extended performance 15,000 mile oil... so I decided to give the oil the best chance at staying clean by adding the bigger dual filters. The factory oil filter is tiny compared to these. These 2 combined are 4.5 times the size/volume of the stock filter.

Plus I have always hated how the oil pan wraps half way around the filter, making it difficult to remove by hand.

The bigger filters, oil cooler, and EP oil seem to do the trick... my last oil change, and first Blackstone report indicated that I could have pushed the OCI out further safely and that was at 13k+ miles on that oil.... very clean oil though according to Blackstone's report.

It may be over kill but I figure why not... I always like to try to improve and upgrade where I can.

Moog 700528 are 3.25" with 2 bushings and the center sleeve... so 3.25" from sway bar to lower control arm.

Rough Country claims a 2" drop by bolting the struts to the bottom of the control arm AND using their .25" spacer between the control arm AND strut (effectively lower the strut another 1/4").

I didn't buy their 2" drop kit, only their Grade 9 hardware so no spacer for me.

I was hoping it would give me a 3.5" drop with the 2" spindles but it's still really close to 4".
