this week i plan to be productive on the 'hoe..i got my surco safari roof rack sitting here and my light brackets should be here tomorrow, then tuesday, my 4 KC lights should arrive..so i need some advice..when i attach the KC's to the roof rack, where do i run the wires to the inside of the truck..I've been considering running the wires to the back of the passenger door and running them from the front of the door to the headliner to the overhead console, but that's gonna take some serious time..is there any easier way?? any advice is MUCH appreciated

The easiest way to do it is to drill a hole on the roof and feed the wires through there. I've been thinking of how to wire them up w/o drilling a hole on the roof, but i've seen a couple of 4dr jeeps wire it up with the wires going towards the back and then through the rear door. I'm actually thinking of running the wires through the oem roof rails. Discovered water seeping in through the rear roof speakers this past week with all the flooding we had here.

Run the wires through the existing holes where your 3rd brake light is. You can always buy more wire to run it to the front. IMO

the wires will get pinched if you run them through the doors, you have no choice but to drill. it's not that hard, just be careful.

Yeah i'm going to do the same thing when i wire up my lights on my roof rack that i'm purchasing soon. I'd rather not drill any holes in my roof...I think running them along the roof rack and running them at the top right corner of the drivers door into the cabin, and along the door seam into the dash would be the easiest route, And the least visible imo.

How many times do I have to tell you all, you have to use a gasket for a salalite dish thing, they sell them for rv's and shit. But yes the only GOOD way of doing it is drilling a hole in yo roof.

I say you run it through the existing holes in the 3rd brake light!! Lol thats the only hole i can see that you can use without drilling a hole in the roof.
