Gotta remember that the engine isn’t making much power at idle but on the highway pulling a camper, it is. The factory radiator is undersized for the 6.2 towing, imho.

Is the Mishimoto a direct fit?

True. Forgot about that little detail. Definitely seems stupid that they don't incorporate that in the radiator.And the need for a restrictor in the vent hose to the surge tank.
