On the NBS, it's the order in which the FOBs are programmed to the truck. First FOB to be programmed is Driver 1. Not sure if it's the same for your later models.

Well I just picked up the 2nd fob and key. I asked the locksmith who programmed it to my ESV to show me how to do the setting of driver 1 & 2, but he said it was all via the CUE system. The fob he programmed to work with the ESV will have factory default settings, not specific to a particular driver.

I will look on YT,b but hopefully the poster who found it can link the specific video he watched. Otherwise I'll have to take it to the dealer.
