Knock Sensor (Code: P0327)

Just use RTV on the outer lip of the black covers for the sensor on the valley cover. No need to buy new ones.



Just be careful pulling the sensor plugs as they can snap easily and you'll have to do some soldering. Other than that, everything else should be a breeze

While you are at it, i would also replace the "oil pressure sending unit" It is an additional $30 to do. Most of those same parts need to be removed to get to it easily. I did it the hard way! A socket wrench with 2 extensions and 2 swivel joints, and 2 hours of sitting on top of my engine compartment.

Well I found 2 friends that know how to replace the knock sensor as they work as mechanics they charge me $150 for labor so they did all the work. I ended up buying the 2 knock sensors, intake gasket, and the 2 knock sensor plugs. Every thing is running nice and smooth now. Parts were $173 so in total over all $323
