You could start with the smoked and tint them a little at a time until you get them the way you want. I think there was a thread on how to remove tint just in case you go too dark.

yeah you just use brake cleaner, it rolls right off (the spray tint) but to tint them you have to sand them, im afraid the scratches will show? do you think so?

I believe you're supposed to use high grit sandpaper like 800 or higher but I've never done it so I could be wrong. Try doing a search for how to tint lights or something similar. I'm sure you can find some good info on here. Sorry I can't help you much on this subject. Good luck man.

If you want to smoke them darker I'd go with the smoked so you'd have less steps to make em darker.:waytogo:

I had purchased a couple cans of spray tint cause I was afraid the smoked ones would be too light for my taste, but I was a little surprised at how dark they already are and felt it was good enough. But it might be too light if you are going black on black :hands:

yeah i think i might smoke them alil bit darker to get the full smoked effect ;)
