Pretty basic question that I can't seem to find an answer to. I need some ladder racks for my tahoe(4door) that will hold a 22' foldable ladder. They have to meet osha standards so if any one can point me in the right direction I would be thrilled. Price is not an option as I am tired of shoving it in the back every time. Thanks for the help ladies and gentlemen!

well lets start off by explaining what the osha standards are. i have no idea, what they are
As long as it could be secured firmly without having the possibility of moving side to side, I dont think they would care. Here is what the rack has to have

See the verticle pieces on each side? They have to be in place to stop the ladder from moving side to side. As far as I know, that is really the only osha standard when it pertains to racks.
I can't believe they dont make ladder racks for suvs anywhere....seems like it would be a popular item.
I do have a buddy who is good behind a welder. Im sure he could whip something up for me real quick. There is a business opportunity for anyone who is interested in that. Design and make ladder racks for different suv's. Im sure you could make some decent money at it.
