Thanks! I got your PM - turns out I'm such a newbie I can't send pm's back! :emotions122:

I just bought my 07 Yukon a couple days ago. Loving the forums so far. I am putting some KMC slide 20" on my ride this weekend. It has factory 20s and I found these slides used for $300 so I'm sticking with that for now. I'll post some pics once I have them on.

Just a couple questions about the newest version navdisk. Right now i'm on version 3.0c and the maps look like something out of the 1980s. Are they improved/better looking in the 6.0c version? Any other upgrades in 6.0c that make it worth it?

6.0c disc has design, map, poi, and firmware updates which make it look and work a lot better ... it will still sound like a cd rom drive from a 1992 Gateway but you can't win 'em all.

Okay, well I download the backup file from a torrent site last night, going to try to burn it tonight, but if it gives me much grief I will hit you up Felix.

Just curious is it hard to swap out the factory nav with something like this for example?

I'm sure there are some threads on this so feel free to point me in that direction instead of re-creating an entire thread. I haven't had much time to poke around the forums yet.

Sounds good man! Yea a lot of burners work but a lot don't because a lot of them can't set the book type to DVD ROM.

Get a wiring harness, dash kit, adapters for bose/onstar/steering wheel controls, and your good to go to get the Alpine!
