Noticed last night I had a ton of oil coming down in the front driver side wheel well, and also from under the front chin. Got underneath it and looked up and it appeared to be coming from an oil cooler line that runs near the gear box. I tried to take some pictures to help identify it, because I'm not sure which of the 4 listed on Amazon is the line I need. The line runs into my main radiator right underneath the fat coolant hose on the drivers side. I'm not sure if it's an inlet or outlet line. It's a 98 2 door 5.7L 4WD. Can anyone help?

unknown at this time.
gm 15112871 is called the inlet line and attaches to the top part of the radiator. gm 15112870 feeds the bottom end of radiator. I did the upper a few months ago unfortunately with a house brand part. the delco lower one is in my hotel office right now waiting for me to go get it. I have a very serious oil and hydraulic leak going on right now.

It's leaking oil at the hose crimps a common problem on these trucks and many other gm's. Mine are leaking pretty bad also.

There is mod to eliminate the crimped connection. Buy some high pressure oil hose 300-400 psi and use fuel injection hose clamps to hold it on.

If you buy replacement hoses they will just leak again.

Here is a link to the mod. It's on a s10 forum but they use similar oil lines.

Replaced my hoses, ended up having to take off the part the lines run into and the oil filter screws onto (has 2 bolts holding it on). In the process I destroyed the main paper (metal?) gasket, so I bought http://www.amazon.com/Fel-Pro-ES72671-Misc-Set/dp/B000C2CFWW. When I reinstalled it, I only used one of the two paper gaskets (the one in the middle left in the picture). Was I supposed to have used both? It's still leaking a little bit and at the time it didn't make sense to stack both on top of each other since they are cut differently.
