I'm trying to figure out if I can get an SLT for close to 600/mth for a 36-39 mth lease 10k miles/yr and 1k or so down.

I guess I'm looking for a final price of around 53k. Anyone think that's doable or has done it? I've been trying to play with the prices online but don't know if my negotiated price is going to be too pie-in-the-sky or not. MSRP is right at $58. I appreciate any insight.

For comparison: 2015 tahoe lt 4wd $53k is $599 mo. Got to chevrolet.com then "offers" I imagine gmc has the same thing.

Whoa, thanks! I didn't think to check there. That's basically the deal I'm looking for. I was actually pretty set on an LT until I realized I could get cooled seats with an SLT Yukon for just a bit more (I think).

The GMC deal is really good, but it's for an SLE (399/mth 39mths/10k) and that doesn't even come with leather so I'd have to pass.

If you can get that then I would. I'm paying $550 a month with $8500 down. I have a fully loaded SLT msrp was around 65k

I hope that $8,500 wasn't for cap cost reduction. You'll never get it back if the car is a lost.

Point of a lease is to have a lower payment and no money into the vehicle. Keep your cash in investments, paying for the lease. I could make over $700 a year with that $8,500.

It was in cap cost reduction, and while I appreciate you being able to make 8.5% return a year I'd rather just not have to deal with it and have lower payments. The high down payment was because I traded in my navigator. I value easiness and convenience more.

If your car is totaled, you'll never get it back.

It's dumb. You either can't get approved for a sign and drive or you make horrible financial decisions. You obviously aren't a baller since you care about monthly payments.

Oh well, you aren't the only one. Trying to prevent others from making the same dumb mistake.

Well I would never call myself a "baller". I'm 20 and I had navigator and decided to trade up, my parents told me they would pay for a car under $600 do I got a SLT.
