LED Replacement for reverse bulb on 2015 Denali

I ended up buying a different brand on ebay for around ~$28 for the pair. They're rated at 30w @ 800lm They are very bright! Very happy with them and also ordered the license plate leds from them. Both are great.

No pics in this thread (though I think there are some elsewhere...), so I thought I'd post a few with the results...

I ended up ordering the "Philips 12841B2 White Exterior Vision LED Bulb (Pack of 2)" from Amazon. The came in over the weekend and I popped them in tonight. Installation was fairly easy as mentioned elsewhere - remove the trim piece that covers the Torx screws that secure the light, remove the screws and gently pull the taillight assembly out. I had to use a pair of pliers just a bit of force to get the reverse light connector to rotate and extract from the housing - but then the bulb was a quick swap and put it all back together.

The pics don't really do justice, but here is one with the LED in the left side, and OE in the right...



Then a close-up of the tail light with the new bulb - definitely looks better with the whiter light - and definitely brighter.

I saw in one of the reviews on amazon that these bulbs threw a code after installed? Anyone who has switched that can verify weather or not this is true?

Anyone have the part number to the matching license plate bulbs?

I bought the Philips 12841B2 White Exterior Vision LED Bulb (Pack of 2) as mentioned on page #2 to replace the reverse bulbs with and want the license plate to match.

Man.!!!...no lie these Philips Rev light bulbs are BRIGHT!! So bright when I looked directly at the first one I installed it made me see spots for a while!! Nice recommendation!

Got the 2 pack off Amazon - great deal!

Will the Philips 12832X1 XtremeVision 12V T16 LED Interior/Exterior Retrofit Bulb fit a 2015 Yukon SLT? Not sure if it's any different from the Denali, but Amazon saying it doesn't fit my vehicle.
