LED Tail Light Bar

I have a 49" led tail light bar, I want to install it on my 2003 chevy tahoe, but I don't see where to install it correctly. The only place I see where to place it is directly below the back door on the black plastic part of the bumper. But it seems to be to long and sticks out on either side, left and right. Is 49" to long or am I not installing it in the right way? I cant seem to find any size below 49", do they even make them in any other size besides 49 & 60"? Any tips on installation would be great. Thank you for the help.

He want to add a LED light bar to his taillights, and that link is for replacing a tailgate not a tail light which he was not looking for anyway.
