I looked around and really couldn't find a write up on this and thought many of us with the LED tail lights could benefit.. I was wondering if anyone has done it or could direct me on how to re wire the tail lights so all LED's would be on while the headlights are on and all would light brighter when braking.. i would keep the blinker as is, just the bottom section.. I have the ones pictured in the thread below at the bottom of the first page. Let me know what you think.

I'm going to fool with this too.

I was also thinking just doing the blinker on all of them - but I kinda like your idea too.

Sounds like an idea. Wouldnt mind at least having them all on at nite. Dont mind the blinker and brake.

All of the LED's on mine are on when the headlights are on and all of the LED's are on when I brake too. Plus all the LED's are on when I use the turn signal...Mine dont section out...

Odd...

i wouldn't mind if all were on for everything, it would look a lot cleaner if it wasn't sectioned out.. Let me know where you ordered yours from, or even a pic of the wiring setup..

Im about to do the same thing. going to have running lights for both top and center section, along with brighter brakes.
Going to use Switchback bulbs for the Reverse and turn in the clear section.

looking on here real quick, saw someone i think it was bkboat, said in a led tail thread that he saw a thread on TF (tahoeforum) that i think is bascially closed now, there is a post about wiring it like that. But since i cant join, i cant seem to search the site.

Maybe someone that is registered there can look for us? :Handshake:
