LED Tails / Strobes?

Hey Does anyone know or has anyone put the 90Watt strobes in the LED Tail lights? I want to get a set but I am a first responder and so I still need my strobes in my Tails. To be legel I need them to emit red to the rear tho at least one pair I was looking and it looks like I can put a set in the reverse light spot to the side on the back up bulbs but, is there a spot too drill and mount the strobe tubes in the red part of the tail lights?

it's actually illegal to modify any DOT approved light fixture
(even for law enforcement)

FPS was siting local law enforcement agencies for having strobes installed in the dot lighting of there cruisers a few years back (in DC)

yeah thats just dumb. I look at all the police tahoes here and they have their strobes right in the factory lights. You could put it in the reverse light and use a red cover?

They make red LED stobe kits you could put in the reverse light area. I haven't seen the inside of an LED tail to know if you could put them in the red part.

I know I can also order red strobe tubes but those just arent as bright. I already have the strobe tubes in my stock tails. Thats why there not tinted tho.
