LED Tails w/ HID Reverse.

Seems like alot of ppl here are talkin about this mod, they either done or looking into it. I am concerned about adding the hid's themselves.. anyhow this is the set of led tails that i ordered: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=250430038691

wanted to kno those who have purchased these tails are these the ones you have also. how would i hook up the HID's and keep from burning the housing or causing damage to the Tails / my baby? or am i being over cautious? any info greatly appreciated..

Lights look cool, paid a reasonable amount too compared to how much I paid!!
Look around for more info on the HID reverses, the TF has alot of good threads about it, jack them and bring them over here after reading them lol!

i found it im more concerned with the company i got them from quality wise!!! would they last well with the heat given off from the HID's even though they be on for less then a 1min each use..

Hmmmm good idea. I will have to look into that as well. Maybe I'll try them I'm the stock housings first for a while.

His name is LaredoTexas. He was the first guy to make the mod and I bugged the hell out of him on how to do it so I guess I was the second. Hahaha

I think you are asking about the tail light quality. Those look similar to the EagleEyes/G3 lights but it seems those are made from some company named Imotor. IMO all the tail lights are made from the same material so you shouldn't have a problem. Your only problem might be when you get the lights, one blinks faster then the other. In that case it has something to do with the small square box resistor/resignator (looks like a dvolt battery). If that's the case, send them bitches back and get a new set of lights.

If you mean visibility they are extremly bright althought they are blacked out, day or night you can deffinatly tell when im blinking or stopping....if you are askign if they do that whoel blink fast thing, its done it a couple of times, and never again since, so im hoping it stays that way....I used film to smoke them out...baught some tail light film over at a local tint shop and did them myself. The trick is to use a lot of heat, and spray a lot of 50%water/50% rubbing alcohol on the light and film....
