I heard about that being an issue with the denali/escalade AWD. Pretty much the sole reason I didn't lift my last Escalade and slammed it five inches instead.

I bought a ranch hand grill guard for the Suburban, but put it on my police Tahoe that I daily drive, and now I dont want to take it off and put on the Suburban. Decisions. I am tracking a set of OEM tow mirrors for the suburban as well since I tow a car trailer usually once or twice a month for about a thousand miles, and my driver's side auto dimming is failing on my factory mirrors. The oem tow mirror swap is bolt, plug and play correct? That is what I have read but most posts are 2000-2006 gen.

Good luck with the driveshaft, let me know how much it runs, so I can decide what to do with my next Escalade (would like to sell the Suburban for a Platinum, which is what I meant to buy instead of the suburban, long story).

Leave brush guard off burb. Tows swap over with no issues. Get them color matched too!

Most have issue with front shaft. That's why they sell kits with new shaft. I got that installed with kit and no issues up front. Mine is weird with rear shaft issues. Hopefully can drop it off next week for new rear shaft custom made. Rough price is $400-500 for shaft and adjust pinion up to correct angle to work with new shaft.

Supreme suspension 2.5 front/ 2 rear. Toyo AT2 extreme 285/65 r18. Just drove it home. Tires ride really good. Barely any noise. Have to get used to the steering now as it seems to have a bit of a sway or seems much lighter after the level. Forgot to take the rear shock extensions to have put on so I will get those installed over the weekend.

It's generally not a good idea to combine front 5100s with a 2.5" front kit. Even with the shocks on the lowest perch, they will be stretching your angles quite a bit.

5100 at stock setting is same as stock so with a 2.5 you will be close to droop stops but should be good. Don't try taking it above 2.5 though

So should I buy just rear shock or both front and rears? Sorry for the dumb questions. Just wanna get everything done all at once which seems to be recommended.
