I second the Adam's products. Be prepared to spend a good bit of time to do a proper wash, clay, wax.

just plan on spending some time on it. detailing is my livelihood and profession. take your time too... no need to press too hard. just keep folding it and as said above best to use a spray detailer or a quick mist (dont remember shelf names) as your lubricant.
dont make it a 2 day process though. wash clay wash wax wax wax! just once is fine, just felt the need to emphasize it. but dont clay saturday and let sit til the next to wax.
if you have an outlet to get professional products in your local area try and find a rep to get it from. most all product distributors will sell it to you on the side or straight out to the public regardless.

Why do you say the bold part? What if you clay and leave the vehicle in the garage, will there be any harm done?

Just asking because I usually clay, then rewash, and let the vehicle sit in the garage overnight, then wax the next day. Mostly because I am too lazy to start the wax after wash, clay, wash.

I am no professional, just a weekend warrior....

its just that claying your car removes everything from the paint.... No protection. He was just stating that you dont want to leave your paint unprotected any longer than neccesary.

That's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure. I would never think about driving around with just a clay job.

Including debadging and detailing the engine compartment. It took 4 hrs total. Wash, dry, clay bar, liquid glass polish with buffer (1 coat so far), and clean and detail the engine. I think it turned out good.
