Been a Ford pickup guy til last 4 months when I bought my first Tahoe.

NBS 2000 leveled with 16x10 DCII and 285/75's

Guy I bought it from wasn't sure what leveling kit it had on it but I would like to know in case I ever decide to make a change, etc.

Best way to try and ID what its got? Is there a way to tell by looking at keys to tell if they are stock/aftermarket? How about on the spacers, what to look for?

Been thinking I might put some Bilstein 5100 or Skyjacker Hydro 7000 or Pro Comp ES3000 to get a little extra clearance.....

Thanks guys and pardon my ignorance.....my '04 F150 didn't have torsion bars and my '00 F150 just needed a little crank to fit big tires.

I doubt you have stock keys on it as the front seems to be a touch higher than the rear. You could have Ford keys or another aftermarket brand. It really doesnt matter what kind they are as they all are pretty close.

Shocks wont get you much, if any, clearance. the CVs are the limiting factor. If the shocks you have now are stock length with shock extensions, you wont get any added clearance. 5100s have ben good to me.

Thanks for the help, yeah I think I do have the stock keys after doing some more searching. Not sure why that pic makes it look higher in the front. I measured and it is ~37 1/8 ground to middle of the wheel well in the back and ~36 3/4 up front (on flat concrete of garage).

I have a good 4-5 threads still showing on the t-bars so I should have enough to at least get it level.

I know I have different wheel/tire setup than yall but do you know what your measurements are just so I have an idea of how much higher it would be with spacers and more t-bar adjustment.

for comparison, my stock keys and aftermarket keys

I'm guessing stock keys will be a little more rusty than aftermarket

Here are my 1" spacers

To answer your question, it looks like keys are definitely cranked, no spacers in the back. I wanted a raised, level look. See sig for what I did. Hope this helps

Does using the aftermarket keys torque the bars more than using the stock keys? For example, I have my stock keys turned 8 times, and its leveled out, (about 2 in of lift)... If I used the 3 in aftermarket keys with the 1 in spacer in the back will that torque my bars more than they are now?
