Leveling vs. Body Lift?

Yeah, I got the level kit (2.5"front and 1"rear) for $125 and installed for ~$225 including alignment. This is on an NNBS.

Level kit vs lift kit vs body lift - really depends on use/expectations and how you drive. IMO they are all good alternatives depending on use, and each has pros and cons.

I disagree with you a little. In my experience A BODY LIFT IS NEVER A GOOD ALTERNATIVE. The shop I do everything with (Olympic Offroad) will not even sell or install a body lift. I have heard in the past that they are not that bad if they are under 3 inches. But then why would you not put on spacers?

i have a question. if i use the torsion keys to raise the front on my 03' tahoe, do i also use a spacer in the front? i would like to get 2.5" - 3" in the front and use a 1" spacer in the back. i have already cranked up the torsion bars to help level out the stance so can i still go higher with the torsion keys and spacers? i'm new to this stuff and i guess i'm just a little confused. i want the stance to remain level but i would like to go a little higher without doing a body lift or full suspension lift if possible.

I believe that 2.5" if as high as you can go in the front while still being able to maintain ride. Any higher than that and you need a full on lift kit.

I would go with Ford f150 keys and 1.5" to 2" spacers. You will get the same amount of lift with the ford keys for the most $50. Theres good and bad in every type of lift. I would only do a body lift if i already had a 6". Keys wear down your front end components if you looking to get 3"s or more out of them. Leveling and Lifting is often confused. Leveling is alright, Lifting is bad. Determine what tires you want to fit and then go from there. you will fit 33"s with keys and spacers and 35"s with a 3" body lift
