Bought this and S2Ks thinking it would fit for a quad setup, but both of the projectors are huge so they will not fit, so selling this pair. This is a set of two left and right Xenon headlight projector units from a Lexus RX-350. Units are in excellent condition, lens are clear and undamaged. Xenon bulbs are included and have been tested but are not guaranteed. These units have adaptive steer frames and motors. Great for a retrofit project.
$150 and they are yours

Hi Bo,

These are the low beam not the bi-xenon right ... they look like the AFS type.

These are excellent projectors, I believe all the bracketing can be removed/trimmed to leave only the actual projector module for a retrofit.

GLWTS.

Hey Serge- yes I believe these are low beam only. I wish I could fit them in my car but to big to fit these and the S2Ks.

Yup yup, plus you'd have quad low beams only. :)

So yeah, if someone wants to do a very high quality oem low beam retro on their Tahoe at 1/3 the price of S2000s, this would be the projector to go with.

Which projectors would be the best to do a retro with, the s2ks or Lexus? I'm thinking about doing this to mine.

S2K are widely regarded as the best low beam projector ever made, but they're $300 a pair minimum for a mint set.

The Lexus projectors are a step down (not by much) and much cheaper.

There are many versions of the RX low beam projectors, 330, 330AFS, 350AFS, probably more. Some require slight modifications to achieve their max potential, some don't. I'm not an expert so perhaps researching and/or inquiring on Hidplanet or by calling TRS would be the best way to get all the info.

On the whole, there are very few, if any, inferior Lexus/Toyota HID projectors.

Btw, I could be wrong, but I believe the ones Bo is selling here are the 330 AFS ... again I'm not sure but I don't think there is a low beam only RX350 projector, and if there is (pre-2010 when lexus started using b-x in the 350), I suspect it is identical to the 330, which is a good thing. :)

the older gen RX350's had low beam only projectors, high beam reflectors. The current RX350 has 1 set of projectors only in high beam location

Yeah that's what I thought ... so pre-2010 the 350 and 330 would likely have shared the same projector, which is the one for sale here.

Side note for those that don't know what AFS stands for: Adaptive Front lighting System. The projectors turn with the steering wheel to help visibility around corners.

That system can't be used on any other vehicle so all that hardware can be removed to expose the projector and to make it a lot easier to retrofit.
