This sub has been problems since we got it. For sale as soon as this is rectified. Thought it was worn rockers. Replaced them and pushrods but no joy. Lots of up and down movement on the rockers. Of course it's the tougher side.

Just pulled the valve cover and found the loose rocker.Did you change the hydraulic lifter as well? Propably not, because you can only change them, after removing the cylinder head.
There are millions of them laying around and they are usually very cheap. Do a search by zip code for engine near you. Car-parts.comTrue to form its the cam. So much for a ******. Anybody have a cheap used 05 5.3 cam laying around?

Why don't you swap the engine, rebuild the removed one with patience and have one good in stock again?I've a whole nother motor sitting on the trailer. I just hate to ruin the value by taking that apart. 4.8 works too. I'll find one.
