Liftgate glass opens everytime

Everytime I open the rear liftgate the liftgate glass opens as well!!! I can not figure out how to stop this from occurring. It's quite frustrating cause I always forget and I have to get back out and push it closed. Any Ideas?

Bump a year later?
Its an electrical problem of some sort. Dealer would be your best place to get that resolved because it is not a common issue.
