Or you could do like this guy did. I Think he's got the right idea.
Neither has a glare shield so light scatter will be an issue once you go with HIDs.
You will need to silicone the corners, those things will take on water like no other.
I really don't see a problem with the smoked set, if the headlights are DOT/SAE approved then light output shouldn't be an issue.
Parking lights will collect moisture, it is normal. They have a drain hole at the bottom for this reason.
And yes, Tahoe and Yukon headlights are interchangeable. The corners are not.
