Could the light issue and not having power to the rear DVD be a result of a faulty or bad BCM?

There has been a few great comments and i think you should follow them. For one: take out the front panels and look over the wires. You wont believe how many cars or trucks i buy that have had bad alarm systems installed that would cause these issues. Make sure no cut wires or any bad worn out black tape areas, usually that is where they have attached the wires together and maybe a bad connection. As for the unit in the back that doesn't work pull it down and trace the wires that is the only thing you can do. As for the rear speakers making noise you might have a bad AMP or once again a bad ground in the rear section. Maybe there was a sound system int he truck at one time and they didn't remove everything. Keep us posted on what you find, good luck!
