Do I need to bleed the whole system after replacing the front brake hoses or can I just hit the fronts
Do you “need to”? No. But, if it were me, I would bleed the entire system if you’re going to be bleeding any of the wheels. It’s rather inexpensive to completely bleed the system and get fresh brake fluid in it.

Just the fronts but never hurts to do it all. Unless you're in a rust area and the bleeders are seizes.

ive done calipers and just bleed the ones replaced. (id flushed the brakes in the past) trick here it to not let the master go dry. if it does your now re bleeding every thing with a tech 2 scanner or the likes to open up the abs pump. so top it off and be quick about the line swap and caliper.
